Different organizations offer in total more than 500 tourist cabins for rent (from easy accessible to very remote), about 50 are manned. In Southern Norway, there are over 20.000 km marked hiking routes in summer and 4300 in winter In Norway there is something called «the right for public access» which in a simple way means that everyone have the right to travel and stay in open country in Norway and applies regardless of the landowner. The right is a free public good that is part of the Norwegian cultural heritage and gives the right to free movement on foot and on skis in the open field. The National Road Authorities are responsible for The National Tourist roads, and has built a wide range of spectacular viewpoints which can be reached by car or bus. Staying in the nature doesn´t only mean off the beaten track. There are easy ways to reach the nature and enjoy it. High rope courses, cycling flow tracks, ski resorts are available all over Norway. In this section we present videos connected to the nature and how to experience it.
